Soup To Knotts (Medium)

Distance: 59 miles and 2600 feet of elevation gain (barometric)

The long and the medium both head to Yorba Linda for lunch, but they take different routes to get there. After lunch, they return to the start together. This medium skips the major climbing done by the long route before lunch and heads to Yorba Linda by a fairly flat route (with small hills) taking you through La Mirada and Brea. After lunch, the long and medium together make a loop through the Anaheim Hills and Villa Park. This includes the two climbs (at mile 32 & 40 on the profile) The largest of these climbs is about 400 feet. Once out of Villa Park, the route back is fairly flat. As you can see by the profile, the last 15 miles is slightly downhill.
