Soup To Knotts (Long)

Distance: 71 miles and 4300 feet of elevation gain (barometric)

The long and the medium both head to Yorba Linda for lunch, but they take different routes to get there. After lunch, they return to the start together. This long starts by heading north to Whittier where it rides over Turnbull to Hacienda Heights (the first peak on the profile). It then rides up and over Fullerton Road for a second climb (the peak at mile 25).  It then proceeds east to Yorba Linda by a fairly flat route, but there are a few short hills. After lunch, the long and medium together make a loop through the Anaheim Hills and Villa Park (which involves a couple of medium climbs) before heading back to the start by a very flat route. As you can see by the profile, the last 15 miles is slightly downhill.
