Tuesday November 26: Last day for online registration.
Thursday November 28: Thanksgiving. Give thanks that you are able to ride ~200 miles

Double Century Riders, the LA Wheelmen are pleased to announce that the Dead of Winter Double is being offered this year. We’re putting on the ride to give the double century riders a last-chance opportunity to earn CTC ride credit this year.

Registration is limited and priority will be set by PayPal payment date and time.

The Dead of Winter Double Century will be run using only the Dead of Winter course.

The Dead of Winter Double will be held on 12/07/2024 and 12/08/2024 with a 75-rider limit each day. Ride date choice and backup options if full — must be selected when submitting registration form and waiver.

The Dead of Winter Double-Double Century riders will ride the Dead of Winter Course on 12/07/2024 and again on 12/08/2024. They will be given registration priority within the 75-rider limit.

Again this year: E-bike category (Sunday only) No CTC credit but a fun day on the bike.

All DoW checkpoints will provide Hammer Nutrition products and water only. We will provide drop bag transportation for your food and lights to midpoint on course.

Ride Registration

The Dead of Winter Double is held rain or shine. No refunds or credits.

To register for the ride, please review the instructions below before clicking the registration link. Please don’t send the registration fee unless you provide your email address so that we can follow up with the registration form and waiver information. If you fail to do this, we will refund your payment and you will have to start over.

Pay special attention if you are registering for someone else and/or for multiple riders. We have not yet made the pre-registration process self-documenting. That is a project for future years. You will have to provide enough information as specified below so that we can follow up with registration material for you to complete.

If you are self-sufficient with PayPal log on to your PayPal account and send the registration fee of $45 (First CTC Double ever) $70 (Double Century), $95 (Double Double Century) to the PayPal address @LAWheelmenGrandTour
If not, then just use the link: PayPal .

For option (2) you will see this graphic. Then click on “Send” and you will be at the same point (after you log in) as if you had used option (1). Don’t be anxious — this link is used both for the Grand Tour and Dead of Winter.
“Send” will get you to the screen below. You are not out of the woods yet! In section “What is this for?” type “DoW 2024” Then type the registrants names and email addresses. See screenshot below as an example
If you are not paying for yourself, please do not enter your personal information. If payment is for more than one, provide all registrants’ names and email addresses.
If your screen doesn’t have this information, do not click “Next” until you complete it!

OK you provided all the information and clicked Next. You then go to the payment screen that looks like this below and click “Send”. Hey! Use your credit card, not mine!

Upon receipt of funds, we will send you a link to the current registration form and waiver. Please don’t use old forms you may have saved.
When all materials have been received, we will send you confirmation of your ride.
SAG support must register on separate form and waiver (use the same registration link).
Rider instructions and Route Sheets will be provided as soon as they are verified.

Registration will move along quickly. If you have paid or returned forms but have not had confirmation within a few days (not hours please), something has gone wrong! First check your SPAM folder. No Luck? Then send an email explaining your plight to the bailout address reflector info@nulllawheelmen.org – several people will receive this and someone will get back to you to resolve the issue.
